The Buffalo Grove Police Department has identified Roman Frid, an evening shift custodial crew member at Glenbrook North High School, as one of the two subjects killed the evening of Sunday, Nov. 17, in a double homicide.

Frid, 69, was a member of GBN’s plant operations team since 2003, Principal Dr. John L. Finan said in an email sent to parents on Tuesday, Nov. 19.

“He was a loyal GBN employee who worked to ensure that our school facilities were clean and prepared for students on a daily basis,” Finan said in the email.
