A teacher at Loyola Academy has been diagnosed with the coronavirus, according to officials at the Catholic school in Wilmette.

School officials learned late Saturday, March 21, that a teacher tested positive for COVID-19, making it the first confirmed case linked to the schools, President Rev. Patrick McGrath and Principal Charles Heintz say in a statement posted Sunday, March 22, on the Loyola Academy website.
