Two men robbed a liquor store at gunpoint just after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, according to Glenview police.

The two men entered Glenview Liquors at 1214 Waukegan Road, showed a handgun to a clerk and demanded money, according to a release from the Glenview Police Department. During the robbery, one of the men hit the clerk in the head with the gun, cutting the clerk’s head.

They fled the store with more than $500 in cash, alcohol and cigarettes before police arrived at 9:32 p.m., the release states.
