Earlier in the summer, I received an email from Highland Park resident Tejas Chakravarthy, a high school student at Beacon Academy in Evanston. He spent his summer learning how to speak Korean in Seoul, South Korea on a NSLI-Y scholarship awarded by the U.S. Department of State.

We at The Landmark were instantly interested in hearing Tejas’ story about his amazing educational opportunity.
