In the past few weeks, we’ve celebrated two of my personal favorite holidays — Earth Day and Arbor Day.

Earth Day began in 1970, and is a day filled with events and activities focusing on environmental protection. Arbor Day, which began in the United States in the 1800s, is centered around the planting of trees.

The two holidays work hand-in-hand, which makes their close timing extremely convenient.
