North Shore D112 approved a remote learning plan in response to school closures because of COVID-19 and has been working hard to get a plan in place unprecedentedly fast, Superintendent Michael Lubelfeld said during a Tuesday board meeting.

The district did previously have a plan in place through April 13, which is how long schools are currently expected to be closed. However, that may change based on guidelines from health officials and how well the virus is contained by that point.
