More than 500 North Shore School District 112 (NSSD112) staff members took part in ALICE training, an aggressive intruder response protocol that stands for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter and Evaluate on Oct. 15. 

The training took place in all 10 NSSD112 schools including its district offices and involved members of the Highland Park and Highwood police departments.
