One of the most memorable parts of Highland Park High School student Zoey Jaffe-Richter’s trip to Costa Rica was when she was part of an outdoor concert.

It was a windy day, and Jaffe-Richter’s music kept blowing away in the wind.

She was there as part of the Highland Park High School orchestra’s bi-annual trip abroad.

“It was for everybody in the orchestra, anybody who wanted to go,” Jaffe-Richter said. “You didn’t have to audition, you could just go if you wanted to.”
