Noting that they were in “kind of an awkward position” (as president Elizabeth Garlovsky described it), the Township High School District 113 School Board is going to continue its talks with the Deerfield Athletic Boosters about the club’s offer to pay for a large, modern video scoreboard at the Deerfield High School football field. 

“The scoreboard would be the crowning jewel,” Deerfield resident and former boosters member Chris Goodsnyder told the board.
