At its June 17 meeting, the Wilmette District 39 Board of Education passed a resolution condemning hate following a June 5 bomb threat at Wilmette Junior High that included anti-Semitic language and graffiti written in a bathroom stall. The resolution directed administration to commit to a plan to combat hate in the district.
