A deer was rescued from a narrow rock formation at Ravinia Beach on Sunday, May 5.

The City of Highland Park Fire Department rescued the deer, after residents heard an animal making noises in the rocks, according to Fire Department Chief Larry Amidei. 

The rescue took 30 minutes, and the fire department used a saw and ropes to raise the deer out of the hole.
