In one of the state’s most competitive districts in recent memory, incumbent Brad Schneider, D-Deerfield, comfortably retained his seat in Congress over challenger Douglas Bennett, R-Deerfield.

With 98 percent of the vote in, Schneider won 63.7 percent of the vote in the 10th Congressional District to Bennett’s 36.3 percent, the largest margin of victory in terms of percentage since the district was redrawn in 2011.
