The doors had not officially opened and yet the parking lot at the Recreation Center of Highland Park was close to full.

People already were streaming in for the City of Highland Park’s 10th Annual Martin Luther King Day of Service held last Monday, Jan. 21. 

More than 1,500 people turned out to learn about the availability of service projects in which they can participate and be of help to others.
