The City of Highwood’s Election Night was business as usual, as incumbent candidates ran uncontested in the City’s City Council race.

Highwood Councilmen Mike Fiore, M. Brad Slavin and Andy Peterson, all incumbents, ran unopposed and retained their seats for another four-year term at the City Council.

Fiore received 35.48 percent of the vote with 99 votes, Peterson received 34.05 percent of the vote with 95 votes and Slavin received 30.47 percent of the votes with 85 votes.
