Mayor Nancy Rotering will serve as Highland Park’s mayor for yet another term, after handily winning the election.

Rotering was challenged by Highland Park business owner Bob Crimo, who said he ran for the office because “no one should ever run unopposed.”

Rotering received 70.1 percent of the vote, with 1,688 votes. Crimo received 29.9 percent of the vote, with 720 votes.
