The three incumbent candidates running for Highland Park City Council have all retained their seats after a close race.

Councilman Michelle Holleman received the most votes, 1,487, which earned her 26.73 percent of the vote.

“It’s very exciting and it reflects on the group effort,” Holleman said. “You can’t buy this election, this election is a person-to-person election, and that’s why I’m so proud of the results.”
