While most of the focus at Ravinia Festival goes toward the artists that performed throughout the summer, but there’s another star that honed their craft nightly at the months-long festival, Chef Michael Tsonton — the executive chef for Ravinia Festival.

As executive chef, Tsonton oversees the dining areas at Highland Park’s best-known festival, including two new dining areas that opened for this past season, Tree Top and Lawn Bar.
