Rabbi Elan Babchuck, a rabbi and entrepreneur from Providence, RI, spent the High Holidays of the Jewish faith nearly 1,000 miles from home, as he traveled to Highland Park to officiate the High Holiday services for Aitz Hayim Center for Jewish Living, based in Glencoe.

Babchuck was present for the congregation’s Rosh Hashanah services, From Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, and will continue to officiate for Yom Kippur, Oct. 8-9.
