For those looking for a healthy option, the chopped salad ($9) comes with avocado, green pepper, hard boiled egg, bacon, American cheese, tomato and onion.
The baby back ribs ($17.99 for a half-slab) are slow-roasted, covered in the restaurant's signature barbecue sauce and served with fries.

Customers at Glenview’s Whiskey River-Potato Creek Johnny’s may have noticed some changes recently.

Most notably, the name.

The restaurant and bar, which was known as Potato Creek Johnny’s for more than two decades, recently rebranded itself as Whiskey River, but they’re still keeping the old name as well.

“This has been Potato Creek Johnny’s for 24 years,” owner Kathy Karowsky said. Karowsky and her husband, Todd, have owned the restaurant for the past three years, while Todd’s uncle Marty owned it for the previous 21.
