For more than 16 years, Castelli’s Pizza in Northbrook was known by a different name — Piero’s.

While it shared a menu and website with the two other Piero’s locations in Highland Park and in Wilmette, owner Mike Castelli wanted to make a break from the other locations. And with that, the restaurant became Castelli’s Pizza in April 2018.

With the new name came new menu options, namely the panino, which Castelli astutely describes as “a giant sandwich.”
