They may have never made it as wise men, but Nickelback certainly made it in another way — as they played back-to-back nights at Ravinia Festival to crowds of adoring fans. 

The rockers played two nights, Aug. 13 and 14 with openers Buckcherry.

Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger repeatedly showed his appreciation for the opening band, repeatedly mentioning that he wished he had written Buckcherry’s most famous hit — “Crazy B****.”
