On a busy weekend for art-lovers in Highland Park, Sailors of all skill levels brought their own kind of artistry to the North Shore Yacht Club’s Summer’s End Regatta, The Race for the Mayor’s Cup, on Saturday and Sunday.

Tucked away behind the tree-lined borders of Central Park, around 30 participants from across the Midwest gathered at the Yacht Club’s cozy Lake Michigan launch to sharpen their boating skills and shoot for sailing glory at the volunteer-led two-day invitational event.
