Sebastian Duncan — a 20-year-old Glenview man who is missing following a Lake Michigan kayaking accident in Lake Forest on the night of Monday, Aug. 27 — grew up in Wilmette and is a 2016 graduate of New Trier High School, according to a family spokesperson.

UPDATE (FRIDAY, AUG. 31): Rescue crews from Highland Park and Lake Forest and volunteers from across the North Shore will continue searching for the missing kayaker into Labor Day weekend, according to a release from the City of Highland Park Friday, Aug. 31. Anyone with information is asked to call the City of Highland Park Police Department at (847) 432.7730.
