The Fort Sheridan Historical Society hosted a historical transported attendees to the past on its historic landmark house tour on May 18.

The tour went throughout the community, which previously was a United States Army Post — including through former military buildings and homes of officers.

There were two sessions of the tour, which lasted two hours.
