When the founders of Cards Against Humanity were looking for ways to promote their fledgling party game, they turned to board game cafes, and the communities that supported these instutitions to get the word out.
“We connected with these really amazing communities of people who were playing board games in board game cafes all across the world,” Cards Against Humanity co-founder and Highland Park native Max Temkin said. “I think for me at least, I was like ‘It’s crazy that there’s not one of these in Chicago.’”
