After yet more upheaval in the District 113 superintendent’s office, the Township High Board of Education hired two retired school administrators Friday morning to steady the ship for the upcoming school year.

Former New Trier Township High superintendent Linda Yonke and Ben Martindale, a retired North Chicago schools chief, will share the responsibilities of the district’s top office after the board unanimously voted Friday, June 29, to approve one-year employment contracts for both administrators.
