Kismet is what brought gyrotonic to Highland Park. Kismet and Sharon Burack.

The unique fitness method uses fluid movements to stretch and engage numerous muscles and joints. Burack heard of the trend while in New York when her friend mentioned it in passing. 

Then, the next day, another of Burack’s friends, this time a doctor, mentioned the technique on a phone call.
