Kids can experience nature in a new way, thanks to the Heller Nature Center’s Monarch and Minnows program for kids ages 4-6.

The early childhood education program is offered at the new Rosewood Beach Interpretative Center, and features activities and programming both indoors and out. Classes are held during the park district’s fall, winter and spring sessions, and class takes place Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with morning and afternoon classes offered. There is both free play and structured activities.
