Highland Park third baseman Thano Fourlas’ primary goal against Evanston was getting on base however he could.

Going deep wasn’t necessarily part of that plan, though Fourlas wasn’t complaining about the end result at all.

Fourlas hit two solo home runs Saturday, April 15 and his second jump-started host Highland Park’s offense. They scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning, defeating the Wildkits 9-3 and improving to 2-0 in conference play.
