Highland Park’s Public Works Department has worked around the clock to clear snow from 156 miles of street, according to a release from the City.

Snow removal operations will continue until streets are passable and parking areas have been cleared, the release states.

The City is cautioning residents to move their cars and garbage and recycling containers from the streets until snow has been cleared.

All downtown parking garages are open to the public.

They are located at 601 Laurel Ave., 1790 St. Johns Ave., and 1785 First St.
